Monarch Summit II is built on top of Niguel Hill, which rises 936 feet from the Pacific, halfway between Los Angeles and San Diego and bounded by Interstate 5 and Pacific Coast Highway. Most of the 190 homes have ocean, mountain or city-light views.
Seaview Park sits near the summit—an easy walk along native plant trails with views overlooking Aliso Creek Canyon and Santa Catalina Island.

Community
Club Casalero opened in June 1977, starting a neighborhood tradition that continues today. Our Friday night “BYOB” mixers still bring residents together, alongside annual potlucks for Cinco de Mayo, summer luaus, Oktoberfest, and the Fourth of July.
Residents also connect through regular book clubs, bridge and poker games, and our long-running community newsletter, Summit Summaries.
Monarch Summit II is a Planned Unit Development (PUD), meaning each owner holds title to their individual lot and home. The HOA maintains all shared exterior spaces, including the clubhouse, pool, spa, landscaping, streets, and slopes. A volunteer board of seven residents sets policy, supported by Tritz Professional Management Services for daily operations.
